Gorillas turn heads at World KidWind Challenge

On May 5th through May 8th, 2024, five students from GHS traveled to Minneapolis, MN, to attend the KidWind world challenge. The five engineering students that participated were Bo Brozik, Max Cook, Ellie Talsma, William Sinkular, and Heydan Westfall.

McCance gets answers at commissioner meeting

As previously requested, Steve McCance was on the agenda to discuss the county’s post election audit, such as when the audit will take place, by whom, where, cost, and procedure. County Auditor Julie Bartling provided the following answers.

The South Central Republican Women sponsored a District 21 Republican candidate forum at 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 13, at the Legion hall in Colome. (None of the races have a run-off between Democrat candidates.)

Boys win regions, girls place third, 25 Gregory tracksters headed to state

The Gorillas had a strong showing at the Last Chance meet on Thursday, May 16, in Armour, with the boys’ team finishing first and the girls’ team placing third. “We are seeing a lot of individuals on our team that are beginning to peak at the right time,” Head Coach Kurt Stukel commented.
