Waldron Stone Arrow

Funeral services for Waldron Stone Arrow were held on Monday, May 15, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the City Hall in Bonesteel, SD, with Pastor Ken James officiating. A wake service was held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 14, 2023.

Casket bearers were Jason Stone Arrow, Justin Stone Arrow, Travis Stone Arrow, Baron Andrews, Brandon Andrews, Byron Andrews, Jr., Joshua Chasing Hawk, Todd Charging Hawk, and Virgil Charging Hawk. Honorary casket bearers were all of his family and friends.

Interment was in the Ponca Creek UCC Cemetery in St. Charles, SD. Waldron Louis Stone Arrow was born November 9, 1961, in Wagner, SD.

He was baptized in the Ponca Creek UCC Church and was a life member of the church. He attended school in St. Charles and Bonesteel, SD, growing up in the Milks Camp area. He worked various jobs doing fencing, road construction, and working cattle.

He lived with Hampton and Mercedes Andrews, who he took as his brother and sister, always helping in any way he could.

Waldron passed away on May 7, 2023. He is survived by his daughter Amanda (Waylon) Milk; his grandchildren: Jon ’Tazia Stone Arrow, Jonathan Ballard, Jr., Zane Waldron Milk and Saylor Milk; his son Austin Williams; his grandchildren: Justine and Andrea Chasing Hawk and Diamond Williams; his sister, Diane Stone Arrow and her children of Sioux Falls, SD; and his brothers: Conrad, Cameron, and Milton; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mom Alfreda His Law; his dads, Joshua Stone Arrow, Sr. and Jesse Andrews, Sr.; his siblings Charmayne, Roberta, Josh, Jr., Darlene Johnson, Geraldine, and Chuck.
