David was born in his family home in Bonesteel, SD, on March 19, 1941, to Jake and Bertha (Bruce) Bachmann, the sixth of ten children: Wally, Gordy, Janice, Loris, Jack, Ted, Henry ‘Hank’, Hazel ‘Liz’, and Jim ’Zeke’. His family lived in the Bonesteel area before moving to the farm south of Gregory, SD. As a boy, David attended school in Gregory.

Larry was born in Boone, IA, on October 7, 1940 to Paul and Ruth (Smith) Crouse. Larry grew up in Denison and Carroll, IA.

David was born June 9 1946, in Burke SD, to John and Velma (Wilson) Steffen. David and his sister Mildred were the third generation Steffens to live on the land homesteaded by Fritz and Ottelia Steffen in 1904.

Funeral services for Bob Farnsworth were held on Saturday, March, 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Carter Gospel Fellowship Church in Carter, SD.

Charlene R. Mentzer, age 54, born July 28, 1966, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on March, 17, 2021.

Funeral services for Wilma Schnabel were held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the Emmaus Lutheran Church in Tripp, SD, with Pastor Marcus Ring, officiating.
