Gorillas earn a spot in the Class B SoDak 16

The Gregory Gorillas started Region 5B play with a 76-47 victory over the Burke Cougars on Tuesday evening, February 27, 2024, in front of the home crowd. The Gorillas got off to a blazing start and led 26-12 after one quarter.

Storm finishes year with two state medalists

The South Dakota State High School wrestling tournament was held in Sioux Falls on February 22-24, 2024. The Burke/Gregory Storm wrestling team had four wrestlers compete.

Lady Gorillas finish regular season, win first game in regions

The Lady Gorillas traveled to Colome on Monday, February 12, and picked up a 56-39 road victory. Quarter scores showed Gregory with 19, 26, 42, and 56, while Colome had stops of 10, 19, 30, and 39.

Gorillas hold a 14-4 record with two games left to finish up regular season play

The Gregory Gorillas hosted the Wagner Red Raiders on Tuesday and came away with a 61-32 victory in an SESD conference clash. The Gorillas put forth a solid defensive effort in the first half holding the Red Raiders to just eight points at halftime while the offense put up 32 points.
