Wessington Springs 36 The Gregory Gorillas began postseason play on Tuesday, March 1st, as the #3 seed in Region 6B, and they hosted the #6 seed, Wessington Springs. The Gorillas out-scored the Spartans 13-6 in the first quarter and 14-13 in the second quarter and had a 27-19 lead at the half.

The Burke/Gregory Storm wrestling team was represented by four wrestlers at the South Dakota High School Activities Association State Championships over the weekend of February 24-25, at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls.

Gregory hosted Wessington Springs in the opening round of play in Region 6B. Gregory came in as the number 4 seeded team and Wessington Springs the number 5 seed.

Gregory 60 Bon Homme 54 The Gregory Gorillas ended their regular season on Friday, February 18, 2022, with a 60-54 win over the Bon Homme Cavaliers. The Gorillas had 31-17 advantage at halftime and led 44-25 before the Cavaliers went on a huge 20-4 run to pull within 3 points midway through the fourth quarter.

Gregory 78 - Colome 25 Gregory traveled to Colome on February 14. The Gorillas posted quarter scores of 20, 45, 65, and 78 while Colome had stops of 6, 13, 19, and 25.

The Gregory sixth grade girls were the champions of the Stuart tournament held on Saturday, February 19, 2022. Gregory claimed victories over Burke, Stuart, and Boyd County. The Burke/Gregory Storm wrestlers stormed Martin, SD, Tuesday, February 8, winning the Bennett County Triangular in decisive 60-16 and 59-12 dual victories over Bennett County and Stanley County. Both duals were quick, with most matches determined by a pin or forfeit.
