Support cancer patients by donating blood on July 3 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church

VALENTINE, Nebraska (June 4, 2019) — Cancer patients may need blood products during chemotherapy, surgery or treatment for complications. More than 1.7 million new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed in the U.S. this year, according to the American Cancer Society. Donated blood is a lifesaving gift most healthy people can give. The community is encouraged to donate blood with the American Red Cross on July 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at St. Nicholas Catholic Church to help those with cancer and many others who need blood.

All presenting donors will receive a free T-shirt from the American Red Cross, while supplies last!
