Grief in the golden years

The Golden Years. Time to relax, do things you enjoy, spend time with family, and take it easy. That would be the ideal scenario. Unfortunately, it seems this reference to later years in life is more commonly used as a joke to reference the things during that stage of life that are not so golden. At times, focus can easily shift to the hurdles in life that keep people from being able to do the things they had aspired to or had hoped to enjoy. When presented with extra or even the typical challenges, it can be very difficult not to feel consumed by the grief that also exists in this stage of life.

Two GHS students gain political exposure as pages

Two Gregory High School students served as legislative pages during this year’s historic 100th session. Raylynn Dehning, a GHS senior, served in the second group of pages, from January 26 through February 7.

Spring activities starting to ramp up at the Gregory School District

The regular meeting of the Gregory School District Board of Education was held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, March 10, 2025. Two students serve at the Capitol Ryler Stevicks presented the Gorilla Good News on behalf of himself and Raylyn Dehning, who both served as pages at the 100th state legislative session.
