Two area teams to compete in the SD Amateur Baseball State Tournament

Colome Chaos, shown above, as well as the Burke Bombers, as previously reported, have qualified for the South Dakota Amateur Baseball State Tournament. Colome will face Dell Rapids PBR at 11 a.m., Thursday, August 6. The Burke Bombers will play their first game at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, against Redfield Dairy Queen. The state tournament will be held August 5-16, 2026, at Cadwell Park in Mitchell.
