Officials monitor weather and water runoff

Friday morning, March 22, 2019 the Mill Pond Dam Wier was gushing!!!! Angrily. Foaming even. O.K., it was actually spitting foam that’s how riled up this water was.

By Saturday, the foam had collected in the Valentine City Park encasing the first walking bridge across the Minnechaduza.

The Valentine Police Department issued a warning for people to stay OFF the bridge, and put up tape to keep them away.
