Adoption is a beautiful choice

These are my parents holding my youngest brother, who is a little over a week old here. They brought him home on Halloween. Later they joked that they got a trick instead of a treat.

We posed for a picture on my oldest brother’s tenth birthday, along with one of his friends (in glasses). It was a fun, crazy household.

Suzanne Braun is shown with her three boys. Joe, whom she adopted, is the middle one. She is legal guardian of Dyrese and Misun, the tall one and short one. All three came to her through the foster system.
