Gregory Elevator demolition aftermath
A historical piece of the Gregory Skyline was demolished on Saturday, May 30th, 2026 by Birkel Dirtwork and Excavation. Birkel was hired by Cenex to tear down the condemned building in order to make room for future plans of Cenex. Half of the building fell at 11:14 that morning, while the other half toppled over at 11:41 a.m.
