You’ll find laughs galore in this murder mystery farce that spoofs the private eye shows of the past. It’s the story of Crimson House, a seedy hotel where the guests pay outrageous rent for shoddy service, run by Rebecca Fitzwilliam (Piper Bartlett).
Arriving on the scene is that famous, inept, yet very funny Hoboken detective, Hercules Porridge (Luke Barreto) who goes by Junior. A corpse has been discovered in the sitting room. Who could have done such dastardly deeds? The guest list includes a mystery writer, Anguish Crispie (Lily Jacobsen), an eccentric young man who dresses like a jungle explorer (Lincoln Juracek), and a strange actress (Dani Timanus), who always dresses in black. Or maybe it’s Colonel Chutney (Bo Brozik), a crazy neighbor who thinks he’s in India in 1880. There’s also Jeeves (Jackson Bolander), the butler, who has a wandering mind. Thrills and chills collide with sidesplitting laughter as Detective Porridge attempts to solve the case.
Other members of the cast include Nick Kenzy, Madi Graber, Cruz Klundt, Aubree Opp, Ryler Stevicks, Aubree Miller, HaLeigh VanOverschelde, Marissa Zimmerman, Adrianna Ziady, Adyson Stukel, and Haydan Westfall.
The play is directed by Ronda Graber and assisted by Joanna Lanz.
