Students in Gregory and across the state gather for SDMEA concerts

About 140 select students in grades 4-6 from Gregory, Colome, Chamberlain, Winner, Wagner, Platte-Geddes, and Highmore-Harrold gathered in Gregory on Monday, March 2, 2026, for the South Dakota Music Educators Association Choir concert. The students practiced as a group throughout the day in preparation for the concert. In several locations across the state over 1000 students were doing the same thing, practicing the same songs to perform at approximately the same time.
