Burke Lake was filled with activity on Wednesday as families gathered in the camping area for a community fun run and carnival hosted through a partnership between the Burke Lake Restoration Committee and the Burke School Fun Run.

The Gregory ROCS Dining Services recently held a cash drawing to raise money to support their services, and came out the big winner when each of the people whose names were drawn donated their winnings back to the organization.

“Unearth a story” is the theme for this year’s summer reading program at the library, Library Director Tara Engel revealed at the regular meeting of the Gregory City Council on Monday evening, May 18, and she has loads of activities planned for everyone from age 0 to adult.
