Former tribal leader in South Dakota convicted of defrauding tribe

A jury on Thursday convicted a former tribal leader in South Dakota of defrauding his tribe out of thousands of dollars. After a three-day trial, the jury convicted former Oglala Sioux Tribal President Julian Bear Runner, 38, of Pine Ridge, of six counts of wire fraud as well as larceny and embezzlement charges.

Addy Nelson receives honors as part of national championship bowling team

USDA trade policies hurt ranchers

But history tells us the USDA is notorious for grossly understating the economic injuries its trade policies are causing American ranchers.

Mykala is a Gregory County born and raised resident, whose family has deep roots planted in the county six generations deep.
