Members of the Gregory County FFA chapter compete at districts

The Gregory County FFA chapter attended their District Leadership Development Event (LDE) on Monday, November 13, 2023, at Mitchell Technical College, in Mitchell, SD. Twenty-two members competed in ten team and individual events.

Community Thanksgiving meal set for Thurs., Sept. 23 The Gregory Community Thanksgiving meal will be held on Thursday, November 23, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Union Congregational Church in Gregory. The Gregory Ministerial Association will be sponsoring. Free to the public, everyone welcome.

More security cameras at auditorium are needed to curb vandalism

The regular meeting of the Gregory City Council was called to order at 6:00 p.m., Monday, November 20, 2023. Auditorium needs some repairs Council Member Ashley Lozano brought up a couple problems at the auditorium.

Greenlight Dispensary now open

Greenlight Dispensary is now open for business. Located on Railway Street, it is bordered on the south by Highway 18, to the east of Family Dollar. It is the first medical marijuana dispensary in Gregory County.

Gregory’s holiday happenings will begin this weekend

The holidays are upon us, and the Gregory/Dallas Chamber of Commerce has some plans to kick things off. While many peopleassociate Black Friday deals with larger stores in larger cities, Gregory businesses will have some great deals to check out closer to home.
