Burke Riding Club to host play nights

The Burke Riding Club will host play nights again this summer starting Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at the Burke Stampede arena. Due to the Fourth of July falling on a Tuesday, they have moved the first play night back. The remaining play nights will be on Tuesday nights.

Mitchell Tech announces Spring 2023 president’s list

A total of 324 Mitchell Technical College students earned recognition on the spring 2023 president’s list, according to MTC President Mark Wilson. To be named to the list, students must earn a term GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and be registered for at least 12 credit hours of academic work during the semester.

Ian Kirkpatrick named to MSOE dean’s list

Ian Kirkpatrick, from Burke, SD, was named to the Milwaukee School of Engineering’s dean’s list with high honors for the 2023 spring quarter. Kirkpatrick is pursuing a bachelor of science in computer science.
