Because the school’s conference room has become a classroom for the 2025-26 school year, the regular meeting of the Gregory School District Board of Education was held in the school library at 5:30 p.m., Monday, August 11, 2025.

The Gregory County Planning And Zoning Board reached an impasse on changing the minimum lot size to build a dwelling in an ag district in Gregory County. Faced with a widening division between members of the board, they consulted Brian McGinnis of Planning and Development District III, who advised that the next step was to refer the matter to the county Board of Commissioners to make the decision.
