Set and filmed in South Dakota, Fall Is a Good Time To Die showcases local talent from across the region A new film shot on the South Dakota prairie is gaining attention — not for sweeping action or Hollywood stars, but for something quieter and deeply rooted: a story told by, with, and for South Dakotans. Fall Is a Good Time To Die, written and directed by Dalton Coffey, premiered earlier this month at Sioux Falls’ historic State Theatre and will soon be available for streaming.
