Most of us know the importance of healthy eating. What you eat fuels your body to go about your daily activities. When you consume healthy, nutritious food, your body responds better; more energy, fewer aches and pains, and even an improved mood. In comparison, when we feed our bodies junk food, we are often left feeling sluggish, uncomfortable, and sometimes even sick.

Jessica Loobey is back to headline Burke Stampede Rodeo Dances

It’s not just legendary rip roarin’ bronc stompin’ Stampede Rodeo that we’re talkin’ about, it’s the whole Stampede Experience. That experience includes the rodeo dances held under the Stampede stars right on the rodeo grounds Friday and Saturday nights, July 18 and 19, after the last bull has been bucked at the Burke Stampede Rodeo in Burke, SD.

G&D Chamber Ribfest well attended, served over 200 people

The 2025 annual Ribfest attendees “got the heat sweats and the meat sweats” with 110 degree temperatures, and 238 people served. Seven teams were entered to compete on Saturday, June 21, 2025, in Gregory, SD. Each team was judged on a ten point scale in these three categories; taste, appearance, and tenderness.
