Several lifeguards and pool manager Jana Winters were on hand at the Gregory City Council meeting Monday evening, June 16, 2025, to find out the status of the city’s twin pools for the summer. The pool is losing tens of thousands of gallons of water, but Public Works Superintendent Guhner Kepler has not been able to determine where it is leaking or where all the water is going.

The competitive scholarship is in its 11th year, and the program has set recipient records for four consecutive years.
