Nguyen to speak at kindergarten graduation

Vivian Nguyen has been announced as the speaker for kindergarten graduation at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Nguyen, an eighth grader at the Gregory School District, is the daughter of Joe Nguyen and Mai Khuu.

GHS ranked #22 in list of best public schools in SD

Only a few months after being named one of the top places to retire in the country, Gregory has again been named to a top place list, this time as one of the 30 best public high schools in South Dakota.

Gregory area sees another summer of road construction

It seems that whatever direction motorists take from Gregory on a state or federal highway, they will run into some road construction. The project started last summer on US Highway 18 is still ongoing.

Kenzy to address 8th grade graduates

Nick Kenzy will be the keynote speaker for the Gregory Middle School eighth grade graduation ceremony at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Kenzy, a member of the Gregory High School class of 2025 is the son of George and Michelle Kenzy and brother to Brooklyn and Tyler, has participated in basketball, vice president of National Honor Society, senior class president, and president of Future Farmers of America.

Mollie Andrews receives teaching award

Mollie Andrews has been named Early Career Teacher of the Year by the South Dakota Association of Agriculture Educators (SDAAE). Mollie has been teaching Agriculture and welding for six years.

SD Dept. of Health issues new fish consumption advisories

The South Dakota Department of Health (DOH), in partnership with the Department of Agriculture & Natural Resources (DANR) and Game, Fish & Parks (GFP), has completed its annual fish collection and sampling program. This joint effort aims to assess the safety of fish consumption in various water bodies across the state.
