A graveside service and interment for George A. Stuckers, Sr., will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, September 12, 2025, at Graceland Cemetery in Burke, South Dakota with Pastor Thaniel Certa-Werner officiating.

Clausen Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. George was born on December 29, 1950, and enjoyed growing up in South Dakota, where he spent his youth surrounded by family, friends, and the great outdoors. His life there was full of hunting, fishing, and constant gatherings at the family farm—memories that would stay with him for a lifetime. After high school, George moved to Billings, Montana, where he continued his deep love for hunting and fishing. It was there that he met his future wife, and together they built a life and started a family, welcoming their two children, George A. Stuckers Jr. and Kaycja Stuckers.

George was a devoted father who made a great effort to include his children in all of his outdoor adventures, passing on his passion for nature and family traditions. He began his career as a truck driver for Sysco/Continental, where he worked with dedication and pride until his retirement.

George A. Stuckers Sr., age 74, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 30, 2025. He is survived by his children who continue to carry forward his legacy of a deep love for the outdoors, joyful times, and cherished memories: George A. Stuckers Jr. and wife Amanda and their children Cameron and Emersyn, and Kaycja Stuckers, and her children Joey and Isaac.

Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate George’s life, followed by a gathering at Cahoy’s in Burke.
