Mildred Kittelmann

Funeral services for Mildred Kittelmann were held Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Bates-Gould Chapel in Alliance, NE, with Pastor Glenn Johnson officiating. Pallbearers were Justin Kittelmann, Bryson Kittelmann, Mike Kittelmann, Travis Kittelmann, Drew Sanders, and Josh Wickham. Honorary pallbearers were Chris Batels, Kenny Fester, Dennis Fester, and Dennis Ellis. Burial was in the Hemingford Cemetery in Hemingford, NE. Mildred was born November 20, 1928 in Brocksburg, NE, to William F. and Dorothy A. (Dunn) Schrader.

On April 27, 1953, she married Paul F. “Pete” Kittelmann in Valentine, NE. Following their marriage, they lived in Alliance, NE, where they ranched and raised their family together.

Mildred was an avid bingo player, and enjoyed yard work, gardening, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary, the American Legion Auxiliary, and, VFW Auxiliary.

Mildred P. Kittelmann, 94, died Sunday, April 23, 2023, at the Mitchell Care Center in Mitchell, SD.

She is survived by her sons, Randy (Julie) Kittelmann and Monte (Andra) Kittelmann, all of Alliance, NE; numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; her daughter-in-law Lisa Kittelmann of Alliance, NE; her brothers Joe Schrader of Paige, NE, and Darrell (Deanna) Schrader of Rapid City, SD; and her sister, Violet Brumbaugh of Newport, NE.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons Brad and Bruce Kittelmann, five brothers, and three sisters.
