Gregory Teeners 14 Winner/Colome 6 Colt Keiser collected three hits in three at bats as the Gregory Teeners 16U defeated Winner/Colome 14-6 on Thursday, July 18. Keiser singled in the second inning, singled in the fifth inning, and singled in the third inning.

Burke Bombers 11 Colome Chaos 1 Blake Boes and JJ Beck collected three each as the Burke Bombers defeated the Colome Chaos 11-1 on Thursday, July 18. Boes had one double and two singles and Beck had three singles in the game.

Gregory Teeners 7 Chamberlain 8 Despite leading by as many as five runs, Gregory Teeners 16U fell to Chamberlain 8-7 in the first game of a double-header on Tuesday, July 9, in Chamberlain. Gregory was right in it until Chamberlain scored on a passed ball in the fourth inning.

Gregory 2 Minors claim 3rd Place

Over the weekend, the Gregory 2 Minors took home 3rd place in the Minors Rosebud League Tournament. In the first game, Gregory played Valentine White and took home a 11-0 win.

Turtle races carry on despite rain

Wednesday’s rain might have gotten in the way of the Legion baseball game, but it didn’t dissuade the Turtle Race fanatics from carrying on with their annual hoopla. When you can’t get rabbits to cooperate, you turn to turtles to race for some big fun and fast money, and that’s just what this event delivered.
