Junior varsity boys golf team demonstrates skills in Platte

The junior varsity boys golf team claimed two of the top four spots in Platte on Tuesday, April 25. Colt Keiser ended the day in a three-way tie for 1st, shooting a 44, and Lincoln Juracek was one stroke behind to finish in 4th.

Gregory JH compete at Platte/Geddes

The Gregory Middle School track team competed in Platteon Thursday, April 20. The 8th grade boys finished second as a team, while the seventh grade boys came in seventh. The eighth grade girls landed in the seventh place spot also, and the seventh grade girls finished in fourth.

Gregory hosts jr. high track meet

Gregory hosted a middle school track meet on Monday, April 17. The Gregory boys came away with the championship, claiming the top spot in six of the events. The girls team ended the day in fifth place with many personal records set.

Gregory tracksters set new records at Corsica meet

Now that the weather has allowed the Gregory High School track team to compete outdoors, the members continue to break meet records. At the Corsica-Stickney meet on Tuesday, April 18, the boys team broke four records, and the girls broke one and set another.

Gregory middle school track team competes at Stickney

The middle school track team had a great day at the Corsica-Stickney track meet in Corsica on Thursday, April 13, bringing home numerous top four placings and even a meet record. The boys medley relay team of Taos Weborg, Aiden Frasch, Landon Keiser, and Tyler Kenzy turned in a time of 1:54.99 to beat a 20-year-old record of 1:56.52 set by Stickney in 2003.

Boys bring home top honors from Wagner track meet

The varsity track team competed in Wagner on Tuesday, April 11, their first outdoor meet of the season. “It was good to finally beat an outdoor track meet,” Coach Kurt Stukel commented.

Boys start the golf season with a first place finish

The Gregory boys golf team started their season with a win at the SESD meet in Yankton’s Fox Run Golf Course last Thursday, April 13. The team clinched the title with a total of 251, 10 strokes ahead of Ethan and Platte-Geddes, who tied for 2nd at 261.
