FSA deadlines approaching March 15

ARCPLC - Producers can elect coverage and enroll in ARC-CO or PLC, which are both crop-by-crop, or ARC-IC, which is for the entire farm. Although election changes for 2022 are optional, producers must enroll through a signed contract each year. Also, if a producer has a multi-year contract on the farm and makes an election change for 2022, it will be necessary to sign a new contract.

Canadian perspective

First, the Covid situation, vaccination percents, and deaths. Covid deaths peaked at 2,500 per day, mostly in the unvaccinated, and were therefore preventable. “I don’t like the government telling me what to do; over my dead body will I get vaccinated” - careful what you wish for. The US Supreme Court that recently ruled against the federal employee vaccine mandate has an unvaccinated Justice - he is the lapsed Catholic. In the history of the Court, there have been 115 justices, 108 of them white males.
