The Burke/Gregory Storm wrestlers started the week with a triangular in Wessington Springs on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Lyman came with a stacked lineup for their dual against the Storm, giving up only one forfeit to Burke/Gregory’s four.

Gregory Youth Wrestling held their annual tournament this past Friday, January 24, 2025, packing Gregory Memorial Auditorium with both wrestlers and spectators. Over 270 young wrestlers grappled for a spot on the podium.

Gregory played host to Kimball- White Lake on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Quarter scores showed Gregory with 10, 24, 37, 45, and overtime score 46.

Gregory AAU Wrestling held their first practice on December 23, 2025, with fifty-five wrestlers signing up, which is a large number for Gregory. Tournaments have been held all over the area in the past month. There are eight girl wrestlers this year, four in the 8U and four in 12U. Gregory 96 Burke 20 The Gregory Gorillas improved to 5-2 on the season with a 96-20 victory over the Burke Cougars on Friday night, January 17. Leading the charge for the Gorillas was Lincoln Juracek, who tallied 20 points.

Both the boys and girls Storm wrestling teams were on the road representing Gregory County on Friday, January 17, 2025. The Burke/Gregory Storm boys had six place finishers at the West Holt Tournament in Atkinson, NE, propelling them to fifth place in a field of 10 teams.

Gregory 74 AC/DC 45 The Gregory Gorillas delivered an impressive performance last Tuesday night, defeating Andes Central/Dakota Christian 74-45 at home. Gregory’s efficient shooting and balanced offensive attack proved too much for AC/DC, as the Gorillas improved to 4-2 on the season.
