A storm damaged the sign located at the North Star a couple years ago. After the City of Gregory received the insurance payment, Ryler Stevicks was asked to serve as the liaison between the City Council and Jerrett Jennings of Ahrendt Design to help develop a new design.

The Gregory Horizons Community Development Corporation sponsored a cleanup day at the Butte Observation Park on Saturday, October 10, 2026. Trees were trimmed, weeds were pulled, and grass was mowed. The view of Gregory is much better now.

There’s no such thing as a stupid question. How many times have you heard that? Usually at the end of a class or meeting during which some new concept or program has been explained, the teacher or facilitator asks if anyone has a question.

The Burke Pink Ladies is a dart league-style organization that raises money to provide financial assistance to current and former Gregory County residents who are fighting cancer of any kind. Through their fundraising efforts, the group helps ease some of the financial burden faced by individuals and families dealing with a cancer diagnosis. During Runnings Ladies’ Night, half of the proceeds from bucket sales, go to the Burke Pink Ladies to support their efforts to help local cancer patients.
