Miss South Dakota coming to Gregory Public Library

Miss South Dakota, Miranda O’Bryan, will be at the Gregory Public Library on Thursday, April 18, to read her book Jericho, the Journalism Kitty and discuss the importance and joy of reading. Jericho the Journalism Kitty teaches children—and adults—what journalism is through a beautifully illustrated lens, giving a brief overview of the job that provides facts and information to communities throughout the world.
Gregory tracksters turn in winning performances in Wagner, Mitchell

The Gregory Gorillas had two track meets last week, and Coach Kurt Stukel is pleased with what he saw. “It’s encouraging to see some of the successes that we have had in the past couple track meets,” Stukel said.
JV/MS golfers host meet in Gregory

Gregory junior varsity and middle school golfers competed in the Gregory/Burke Tournament on Friday, April 12. Rylan Peck was the top finisher for the boys’ JV team, carding a 46, good for seventh place.
Rep. Dusty Johnson honored twenty-five Veterans during ceremony held in Fairfax

In a pinning ceremony hosted by the Fairfax American Legion Auxiliary, twenty-five Vietnamera Veterans were honored for their service. Thirteen of those were honored posthumously, thanking a loved one for the service member’s sacrifice.
