    Gregory students and staff step up in big way for Bryan boys

    Hats, pajamas, a shaved head, and a shaved beard—these seemingly unrelated items all combined recently at the Gregory School District, resulting in $3,720.73 raised for Wesley and Sawyer Bryan in their fight against their fatal disease.

    How can I stand with survivors for Domestic Violence Awareness Month and beyond?

    This was the question that the Domestic Violence Awareness Project advisory group asked ourselves at our annual Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) planning meeting this year. How can we best show up for survivors right now? How can we assert our unapologetic unity with both survivors and those who serve them, during what feels like a time of significant turbulence and scarcity in domestic violence and related fields? As we dreamed up possible taglines and campaign imagery, our core messages felt crystal clear: Survivors deserve safety. Survivors deserve support. Survivors deserve solidarity.

    Women experience distinct stages throughout their lives. In literature, these are often described as the maiden, the mother, and the matriarch phases. The transitions between these phases can be challenging times for a woman. Perimenopause is the transition between mother to matriarch.

    SD organizations to “stand up for housing” during week of action
