Dance team impresses judges with fun programs

The judges continue to love the Gregory cheer and dance team’s hip hop routine. At a dance competition on Thursday, September 3, 2026, in Mitchell, the Gregory girls tied for 8th place with comments from the judges like, “Love the choreo!” “Awesome,” “Fun!” and “Looks like everyone is enjoying themselves!”

This week the Lady Spikers continued their travels with games in Chamberlain and Presho. However, the Varsity ladies got a chance to play in front of a home crowd on Saturday with annual Gregory Invitational Tournament.

An experiment deep underground in South Dakota’s Black Hills has reported its “most compelling hint of dark matter” to date. A news release Tuesday from the LUX-ZEPLIN experiment announced the recording of a single particle interaction that researchers have difficulty explaining with known background signals from normal matter.

I do not have the most current numbers and leaders so I will tell you who was leading etc. as of last week. Cerny, Inc., aka, Al Cerny and Ken Cerny are leading the pack. Al has been working on his handicap and I think he now has it in shape to make a run during the playoffs.
