The South Dakota Department of Health is notifying the public of potential measles exposure at two locations in Hot Springs, SD. An outof- state resident with a confirmed measles infection visited these public places while infectious.

Greg and Sandy Smith recently launched a new lodging opportunity in Gregory County, located in the rugged, scenic hills southeast of Burke. The Diamond Mustang Ranch, formerly a large horse ranch, sat vacant for almost ten of its 20 years.

At the regular meeting of the Gregory City Council on Monday, July 7, 2025, several community members were in attendance to listen to and offer their thoughts on the city’s plans for a pool. The public works department still has plans to try to seal cracks in the current pool to open yet this summer.
