Public health notice: potential measles exposure in Hot Springs

The South Dakota Department of Health is notifying the public of potential measles exposure at two locations in Hot Springs, SD. An outof- state resident with a confirmed measles infection visited these public places while infectious.

Minnesota now recognizes South Dakota enhanced concealed carry permits

The South Dakota Secretary of State’s Office is pleased to announce that the State of Minnesota has officially recognized Restricted Enhanced Permit holders who are under the age of 21 years old. This expanded recognition allows permit holders to legally carry in Minnesota.

City council seeks community input on swimming pool

At the regular meeting of the Gregory City Council on Monday, July 7, 2025, several community members were in attendance to listen to and offer their thoughts on the city’s plans for a pool. The public works department still has plans to try to seal cracks in the current pool to open yet this summer.
