Join the FFA chapter to celebrate CTE and CTOS in February

February is CTE Month, but what is CTE? It stands for Career Technical Education. It is a program that provides students of all ages with the academic and technical skills, knowledge, and training necessary to succeed in future careers and to become lifelong learners. In total, about 12 million high school and college students are enrolled in CTE across the nation. CTE prepares these learners for the world of work by introducing them to workplace competencies and makes academic content accessible to students by providing it in a hands-on context. CTE is split into 16 career clusters that apply to different high-demand careers: health science, business, sales, finance, information technology, science, technology, engineering, math, manufacturing, logistics, hospitality, government, law, agriculture, human services, construction, training, arts, audio/ visual technology, and communications. All of these careers are necessary to make the world keep working, and we need to continue to educate students in the fields of these jobs.
