We remember those who died in Vietnam

Gregory County paid a great price for the Vietnam War, losing eight of her sons to the cause. Those eight young men left behind many brothers and sisters, friends, and community members who grieved their loss. They are remembered here.
GHS graduation held last Saturday

Gregory High School seniors were awarded scholarships during the commencement exercises held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Gregory Memorial Auditorium. Gregory boys golf team takes second place at Platte

The Gregory Gorilla boys golf team had a strong showing at the Platte-Geddes meet on Friday, May 7, turning in a second place finish in a field of 12 teams with a total of 246. Platte-Geddes captured first place at their home meet with 239 points; Ethan finished in third with 255; Bon Homme totaled 95 points for fourth place; and Kimball/White Lake rounded out the top five with 266.
Gregory takes 88 entries to 5th - 8th grade contest

On Friday, April 30, 2021, the Gregory fifth-eighth grade band students participated in the area solo music contest at Winner. Gregory had a total of 10 I+’s, 38 I’s, 9 I-’s, 16 II+’s, 12 II’s, and 3 II’s for a total of 88 entries.
Gregory Elementary spring concert held Tuesday, May 4

The Gregory begindergartners and kindergartners performed “Words of Wisdom” by Teresa Jennings, during the spring concert held at the Gregory Memorial Auditorium on Tuesday, May 4. The concert was under the direction of Katie Opp.
JoAnna Lanz to speak at graduation

The 2021 Gregory High School senior class has chosen JoAnna Lanz as the keynote speaker for commencement exercises at the Gregory Memorial Auditorium, Saturday, May 15, at 2:00 p.m. JoAnna Lanz has been teaching kindergarten for 13 years at the Gregory School.
