The middle school track team had a great day at the Corsica-Stickney track meet in Corsica on Thursday, April 13, bringing home numerous top four placings and even a meet record. The boys medley relay team of Taos Weborg, Aiden Frasch, Landon Keiser, and Tyler Kenzy turned in a time of 1:54.99 to beat a 20-year-old record of 1:56.52 set by Stickney in 2003.

The varsity track team competed in Wagner on Tuesday, April 11, their first outdoor meet of the season. “It was good to finally beat an outdoor track meet,” Coach Kurt Stukel commented.

The Gregory boys golf team started their season with a win at the SESD meet in Yankton’s Fox Run Golf Course last Thursday, April 13. The team clinched the title with a total of 251, 10 strokes ahead of Ethan and Platte-Geddes, who tied for 2nd at 261.

The weather isn’t suitable for outdoor track season so far this year, so the team has been finding indoor options to fill their schedule. Indoor tracks aren’t scattered throughout the state, however, so these meets require more travel than usual. On Tuesday, March

The Gregory High School boys and girls track teams kicked off their season last Thursday, March 23, at an indoor meet at Mount Marty College in Yankton. With their home track still covered with snow and the first several meets canceled, this was the first opportunity for the athletes to compete.

The Gregory Athletics Club hosted the 30th Annual East - West Shoot-Out on Monday, March 20, 2023. The event features area high school seniors and gives them the chance to have a night of fun on the court playing together with friends, who are sometimes rivals during the regular season.
