17th Annual Memorial Golf Tournament in the books

The 17th Annual Memorial Golf Tournament was held this past Saturday. Justin Keegan and Brandon Arizmendis were in charge of the tournament, which was again a success.

Gregory Teeners 16U defeated Chamberlain 16U 7-5 at home on Wednesday, June 21, after taking the lead late in the game. Gregory trailed 2-1 in the bottom of the sixth inning when an error scored two runs for the team.

Klein throws a no-hitter in Majors’ win against Lyman

Jacob Klein was brilliant on the mound on Friday, June 16, throwing a no-hitter to lead the Gregory Majors past the Lyman Majors 14-0. Gregory opened up scoring in the first inning when Otto Reber drove in one run on a double.

Gregory Teeners 16U watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 12-2 loss to Winner/Colome Jr. Legion on Wednesday, June 7, in Winner. Winner/Colome took the lead on a triple in the first inning.

Sternberg/Bonte win Gregory women’s golf tournament

There were no shortage of struggles on the golf course during week two for the women. A light rain, an injury, and a flat tire to name a few. But a significant other or two to work on the tire and a little sun worked wonders. A mere half point separated team VanDerWerff/VanDerWerff from Team Bakke /VanDerWerff for the lead for the week. Team Stukel/ Stoddard were right behind them in third place.
