The Gregory Police Department is seeking a certified officer to replace Dean Rivers, 52, who was dismissed last month due to complications with his credentials. “I prefer to have three (officers) because I can do more of my duties like admin and training,” said Police Chief Doug Catts.

With two runners in the top ten and another in the top 15, the Gorilla boys cross country team won the team title at the Cougar Invite in Burke on Thursday, September 29. Fin Adams finished in fourth place with a time of 18:09, followed shortly by Luke Sinclair at 18:21 in fifth.

The #2 ranked 9A Gregory Gorillas left it all on the field in a heartbreaking last-minute loss to #8 ranked 9AA Parkston Friday night in the school’s Homecoming matchup. The Gorillas were first to get on the board when Rylan Peck found his target with Eli Fogel, who connected for an 80-yard touchdown run barely five minutes into the game.

During the homecoming coronation ceremony on Monday evening, the Athletics Club announced that Dr. Melissa Bartling had been chosen as the 2022-23 Fan of the Year.

The Gregory Gorillas faced the Kimball/White Lake WildKats in Kimball for their Homecoming on last Friday night. The Gregory defense bent, but never broke, in a hard fought brawl against the hard running WildKat offense.

The Gregory cross country team was hosted by the Bon Homme Cavaliers on Monday, September 19. The girls saw several season best (SR) times, and Cassidy Keiser ran a personal best (PR).

Todd County was a good win for us. We had to make some adjustments since Sapphire Kenzy was injured. We moved some people around, but when we went to the Bon Homme Tournament on Saturday, we changed our rotation again.
