Gregory Gorillas Homecoming ’22

The Gregory Gorillas faced the Kimball/White Lake WildKats in Kimball for their Homecoming on last Friday night. The Gregory defense bent, but never broke, in a hard fought brawl against the hard running WildKat offense.

The Gregory cross country team was hosted by the Bon Homme Cavaliers on Monday, September 19. The girls saw several season best (SR) times, and Cassidy Keiser ran a personal best (PR).

Todd County was a good win for us. We had to make some adjustments since Sapphire Kenzy was injured. We moved some people around, but when we went to the Bon Homme Tournament on Saturday, we changed our rotation again.

Under stormy skies, Gregory defeated Irene-Wakonda 46-11 on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Mike Dacey field in Gregory. The win moves the Gorillas to 4-0 on the season.

The cross country team has been hitting the road, competing in Wagner September 12, Presho September 17, and three of Gregory’s boys varsity members competed in Huron September 17. September 12 was a good day for the Gregory team in Wagner.

The following are two 4-H State Fair exhibitors who were inadvertently missed in last week’s edition: Addie Dostal, Display Exhibits, Dog, Dog Obedience And Dog Agility, Purple; Display Exhibits, Home Environment, Red; Display Exhibits, Clothing and Textiles, Selected Outfit, Purple.

Last Friday night the Gregory Gorillas football team traveled to Martin to face the Bennett County Warriors for the first time in recent history. The Gorillas dominated both sides of the ball and eventually ended the game with the score of 50-0.
