South Central Storm 4 - Colome Chaos 14 South Central Storm amateur baseball team watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 14-4 loss to the Colome Chaos on Thursday, June 16, on the road. Colome scored on a double by O’Bryan in the first inning and an error in the second inning.

Gregory Co. 15 - Sanborn 2 Gregory County Junior Teeners scored nine runs in the fourth inning on their way to a 15-2 victory over Sanborn on Thursday, June 16, at home.

The Gregory boys golf team dominated the competition last week, June 6-7, at the state tournament in Rapid City at The Elks Golf Club. The boys anticipated this win but knew it wouldn’t be easy. It took long days at the golf course either hitting balls inside if it was cold, or having friendly competitions with each other.

Gregory County Legion knocked in nine runs in the third on their way to a 13-4 victory over Winner on Wednesday, June 8. The offensive firepower by Gregory was led by Trey Murray, Bryce Frank, Brogan Glover, Owen Duffy, Sawyer Tietgen, and Gannon Thomas, all driving in runs in the frame.

The Gregory Ladies Golf Tournament was held on Thursday, June 9, 2022, with Sam Sperl and Whitney Fenton in charge of the tournament. The start of the tournament was delayed by rain, and again three holes into the game by another blast of rain.

Gregory Teeners 0 - Chamberlain 1 Both teams were strong on the hill on Tuesday, June 7, but Chamberlain Teeners were just a little stronger at the plate in a victory over Gregory. Noah started the game for Gregory and recorded 18 outs.

Storm 2 - Sioux Falls Squirrels 15 South Central Storm fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 15-2 loss to the Sioux Falls Squirrels on Saturday, June 4, in Baltic. The Storm struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Sioux Falls.

The Gregory County Jr. Teeners hosted Valentine for a double header on Thursday, June 2.
