After exhibiting her Grand Champion poultry in the Tripp County Fair

After exhibiting her Grand Champion poultry in the Tripp County Fair, Lydia Wonnenberg went on to compete at the Best of the West County Showcase in Wessington Springs on Sunday, August 14. Grand champions from counties across South Dakota were eligible to compete in this showcase. Wonnenberg earned fifth place overall in the poultry division. The event handed out over $4,800 in buckles, banners, and cash to the top five exhibitors in each of 13 different divisions.
