After only 25 years, hospital is outdated

One of the highlights of the open house for the new hospital was the presentation of the keys for the building by Ray Thieman, representative for LHHS, to Larry Narum, administrator of the Gregory Hospital and Rosebud Nursing Home. Also shown are Fr. O’Dowd of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Victor C. Gilbertson, Architect for Hills, Gilbertson and Fisher, Inc., Dr. K.K. Verma M.D., and Dr. Raymond Nemer M.D.

A notable feature of the new hospital was the kitchen, which would prepare meals for both the hospital and nursing home. It was projected that over 61,000 meals would be prepared here each year.
