Elf on the Shelf, banana store, and quiz bowl all good news at school board meeting

Students at Gregory Elementary School have been studying the sea world. Librarian Holly Whitney constructed a giant octopus that lurks over one corner of the library, while several other ocean-dwellers swim overhead. This is part of the library’s emphasis on STEAM activities.

The school library has acquired four 3-D printers, which Librarian Holly Whitney uses, in part, to produce items for sale that help fund the STEAM programs she teaches. She also makes items for students to redeem their banana bucks for.
