Festival choir performs at Gregory Memorial Auditorium

  • Students from Gregory, Winner, Highmore-Harrold, Colome, Chamberlain, and Wagner participated in the 14th annual SDMEA Festival Choir on Monday, March 6, in observation of Music in Our Schools Month. Julie Fastnacht, choir director in the Wessington Springs School District was the guest conductor. The public was invited to attend the performance at 3:30 that afternoon, following a day of practice.

  • Thirty students from Gregory were among the participants in the Festival Choir. Accompanied by Colleen Murray, they performed Sisi Ni Moha by Jacob Narverud, Over My Head arranged by Podd and Podd, The Bird’s Courting Song arranged by Cristi Miller, All the Pretty Little Horses arranged by Brian Finley, and Going Down the Shore by Amy Bernon.
