Goeden descendants gather at Paxton Church

Descendants of Othmar and Audrey (Mayer) Goeden celebrated Mass together at the Annual Memorial Mass at St. John’s Catholic Church in Paxton on May 25, 2025. Those in attendance were Danny and Debi Goeden of Tontitown, AR, LaVon (Goeden) Green of Gregory, SD, and Bob and Janice Goeden of Ephrata, WA. Othmar’s parents, Joe and Matilda (Kast) Goeden, moved to the Paxton area in 1919. Othmar and Audrey were married at St. John’s on June 5, 1945, and raised their family on a farm one mile east of Paxton.
