Youth also made gear chains that moved different pieces. This workshop taught youth problem solving skills and cause and effect when using electricity.

  • Gregory County 4-H held a String Art workshop for youth on July 8th. Attendees planned the color pattern of their strings by coloring and visualizing what their ideas would look like. They then nailed a hot air balloon pattern on each of their boards, then used a wide variety of colored string to make their creation. By weaving the strings through the nails, they were able to make different and unique patterns and patches in their hot air balloons.
