Gregory students triumph again, capture reading olympics title in Winner

Reading Olympics were held in Winner on Friday, April 10, 2026, with coach Holly Whitney and 46 students from 2nd-7th grades competing against Colome and Winner. Gregory was the champion again this year, bringing home the traveling trophy.

The small but mighty 7th grade team of (l to r) Michaela Hull, Robby Ring, and Harper Wenger finished in 2nd place.

The second Gregory team to win their division was the 5th grade team of Livvy Bice, Nicholas Johnson, Christian Ring, and AJ Timanus, shown l to r.

4th graders Odin Reber, Henrick Hamilton, Knox Hamilton, and Nickolas Lozano, pictured l to r, placed 3rd.

Gregory’s 2nd grade team, pictured l to r, was Grayson Rivera, Kendall Braun, Bennett Grage, Claire Jacobsen, Conroe Lunne, and Oaklee Hoffman. They finished the competition in 3rd place.
