Heat causes cement to buckle on Highway 18
Temperatures in Gregory on June 20, 2025, were over 100 degrees causing Highway 18 to buckle across all four lanes in front of Kotrba-Smith Funeral Home. Cara Hull commented that the event shook her office chair. Multiple road buckles were reported from across the state.
