Homecoming parade served up some fast food entries

JoAnn Serr took the helm as this year’s parade marshal.

The second graders dressed like chickens for their Chick-Fil-A theme, urging people to “Eat Mor Cougars” for their winning entry in the elementary division.

Winning the high school division was the junior class, with a Kentucky Fried Chicken statement that, “Victory over the Cougars will be finger-lickin’ good.”

In the middle school division, the seventh graders came up with a variety of Cougar menu items for their Arby’s theme to win first place.

Gregory High School marching band performed during the parade and also at half-time of the Gorillas vs. Cougars football game on Friday.
