IOOF Winter Formal success: Student trio donates proceeds to community

Organizers of the IOOF winter formal donated $150 to the school’s Hope Squad, a peer-to-peer program comprising freshmen through seniors. The funds will support the group’s vital work in mental wellness advocacy and suicide prevention, providing a lifeline for students struggling within the school community. Seniors Asia VanDerWerff, Dani Timanus, and Riki Bruns designated $500 of their winter formal proceeds to Suzanne Braun. The trio hoped the donation would help defray her medical expenses and show the community’s support during her time of need.
