Sixty-one years later, army buddies still get together

Five of the men who are still alive, got together this year at the home of Ronnie and Darlene Shattuck of Gregory. The jungle was cleared to make room by spraying Agent Orange to kill the vegetation and then it was pushed father into the jungle with bulldozers.

The showers at camp consisted of 55-gallon barrels on a platform. The water was warmed by the sun during the day and was cold by night - if any water was left.
